It is a very safe procedure done by a trained dermatologist or electrologist. A small thin sterile needle/ device is inserted under the surface of the skin. The device passes an electric current to the bottom of the follicle, destroying the hair roots. This will prevent hair from growing and will cause the existing hair to fall out.

What are basic methods used in Electrology?
